3 original members J. Hipper (Rhythm Guitar, Vox), J. (Boz) Boissevain (Lead Guitar) and C. (Barney) Matulick (Vox) searched the scene to recruit some fresh blood with J. Ginn (Bass, Vox) and J. (Jax) McCarthy on drums rounding out the new lineup. Locked away in Vision Studios Perth writing and recording the long awaited second Rawkus® album “Heavy” due for release in Oct 2024.

History
Born on the beaches of Perth Western Australia in 1990, Rawkus® smashed onto the Australian music scene and airways with their debut self titled album.
In 3 short years the band wreaked havoc across Australia with their blistering live performances and offstage antics culminating with the 1993 Guinness World Record for the loudest indoor club band on earth. Performing at the famous Club Original Perth to a packed house, an ear-splitting 135 dB was officially registered...Shortly thereafter Guinness decided to drop the volume record due to health concerns and Rawkus® missed their feat being immortalised in print for all time.

Within three short years Rock n Roll excesses led to the self destruction of the band by 1994.

Now there back Heavier than ever!
